With the arrival of the upgraded Booster program in January 2026, we hope to bring our filmmaking community a new phase of opportunity. This enhanced format is built to provide creators with stronger support, and greater financial flexibility, marking a meaningful advancement for both emerging and experienced filmmakers alike.
Financial support is expanding in a meaningful way. Each project can receive up to €10,000, calculated at a maximum of €200 per PAZZ crew member involved. This means the total funding scales with your team size and the scope of the project. For example, a team of 20 PAZZ members working on a complex production could receive up to €4,000, while a larger team of 50 or more members on an equally ambitious project can reach the full €10,000. A smaller or less complex film with the same crew size would receive a lower amount accordingly.
Another important update to the Upgraded Booster Program is the new quarterly selection cycle. Instead of choosing a winner every month, one standout project will now be selected every three months. This gives the selection team more time to review each submission in depth and ensure that the most promising and well-developed projects receive the spotlight.
The current Booster format will continue through December 2025, marking the close of its final round. From January 2026 onward, all new applicants will be automatically entered into the Upgraded Booster Program without any additional steps.
This shift signals a stronger commitment to storytelling, talent development, and the future of creative filmmaking. With bigger opportunities and more focused support, we hope the coming year is set to inspire some of the most exciting projects.
